Siddhi Vinayak, Maharashtra

Siddhi Vinayak Temple is known as "Navasacha Ganapati" or "Navasala Pavanara Ganapati" (meaning Ganapati fulfills the wishes of the humble and sincere praying devotees).
Built in the year 1801, the 3.60x3.60 m square brick structure consists of an old dome with a brick spire on top. Now, the temple complex is spread over 2550 square meters.

A wealthy woman named Deubai Patil of the agricultural society was childless; She prayed to Ganesha: "Although I may not have a child, other childless women enjoy being a mother after coming to you." Ganesha seems to have agreed to this request. Ramakrishna Jambhekar Maharaj, a disciple of Swami Samarth, installed two divine idols in front of the presiding deity of the temple. After 21 years, a Mandar tree grew at that place, with the self-styled god Ganesha in its branches, as prophesied by Swami Samarth.
The idol of Shri Siddhivinayak was carved out of a single black boulder and is 2'6" (750 mm) high and 2' in (600 mm) wide, with the inner ceiling being gold-plated.
This is an unusual quadrilateral form of Ganesha, whose trunk is on the right. His upper right and left hands hold a lotus and an ankush (axe) respectively, while the lower right and left hands hold a pearl garland and a bowl filled with modaks (the favorite prasad laddus to Ganapati) respectively. As this sacred thread resembles a snake on the right side of the stomach on the left shoulder. The deity has an eye on its forehead, which looks almost like Shiva's third eye.
On either side of the Ganesha idol, there are idols of Goddess Riddhi and Siddhi, as if they are peeping from behind the idol of Ganesha. Because of these two goddesses along with Ganesha, this temple is known as Siddhivinayak.
